About Us
Narconon
was established in Santa Cruz County a little over a decade ago. The Narconon
program as a whole has existed for over 30 years. The Narconon Program was
begun by an inmate in Arizona State Penitentiary in 1967. William Benitez,
Narconon Founder, once said he always remembered the addicts most treasured
conversation, "one of these days I'm going to quit. . . ". He set out to
overcome his own struggles with drug dependency and to help his fellow inmates
as well.

The Narconon
California facility is located on 34 acres of beautiful mountainside land. We
house at any one time around 40 students, and run at close to capacity year
round.
The Narconon
California staff are dedicated to helping those who are faced with the task of
learning a new way of life. This is both a personal and professional duty for
us, as many of our staff are recovered addicts themselves.
A typical stay at our facility is
between 3-5 months. However, when people ask, our philosophy is that, "it takes
as long as it takes." In other words, with each individual client comes a
unique set of challenges and life experiences, and in so keeping, every client
is different and will face their own hurdles.
Our admissions counselors are
available seven days a week at (800)
722-5570. We also have an
online
assesment form that will help our
counselors get started on your individual pre-treatment assesment today.
